Hi folks,
On a _slightly_ more serious note, for updated references in our
IPP Printer Installation spec, see RFC 3075 (XML Digital Signatures)
and RFC 3076 (Canonical XML 1.0). In order to reduce ambiguity and
improve verification of XML digital signatures, canonicalization of
XML should be used.
Note that RFC 3075 introduces the concept of a 'Manifest' which
allows a digital signature to be specified for a non-XML resource
(like the gzip file of a print client).
